Leigh Bromby

Brombey came through the ranks at Sheffield Wednesday in the year 1999 and soon established himself as a fine defender at the club. He spent nearly five years playing for Wednesday between 1999 and 2004 and was a fine defender at the club, making over 120 appearances for the Owls. He later on moved to local rivals, Sheffield United in 2004 and has established himself with the blades since joining.

Alan Quinn

Quinn made his debut for Wednesday during the 1997 – 1998 campaign and soon established himself in the heart of the Owls midfield. He went on to enjoy a lengthy seven year period playing for the club between 1997 and 2004, making 178 appearances for the club before moving to bitter local rivals, Sheffield United. His great play has earned him six caps representing the Republic of Ireland.

Graham Coughlan

Coughlan started his professional playing career in the Irish football league, playing for Bray Wanderers before moving on to play for Blackburn Rovers and Swindon Town. He went on to sign for Plymouth Argyle in the year 2001 and went on to spend four years with the club and was named as the clubs player of the year on two occasions, while helping Argyle gain promotion in to the second tier of English football. He is a hard working central defender who always gives 100% on the football pitch. He made over 200 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday between 2001 and 2006 and is a popular defender at the club.

Kevin Gallacher

After a real great period playing for Dundee United, Gallagher moved on to sign for Coventry City in 1990 and soon became a fans favourite and had now established himself in the Scottish national football team.
In the year 1993, Gallacher moved on to play for Blackburn, enjoying his greatest playing days of his career, he helped Rovers finish the 93-94 season off in second place and the 94-95 campaign witnessed their club win the league title. After six years playing for Blackburn, he moved on to star for Newcastle and then had spells playing for Preston, Sheffield Wednesday and then Huddersfield Town.
