Ian Porterfield

Porterfield began his career playing for Raith Rovers in 1967 before moving on to play for Sunderland, a place he would have a great time at. He scored the winning goal in the 1973 FA Cup final win over Leeds United FC. He spent ten years playing for Sunderland before moving on to play for Sheffield Wednesday. He later on went on to become a success manager, at many clubs, including, Reading, Chelsea and Aberdeen.

Bob Bolder

Bolder commenced his football career in goal for Sheffield Wednesday, spending seven years at the club. He moved on to play for Liverpool for two seasons between 1983 and 1985, winning the league title with the club. In the year 1985, he moved on to play in goal for Sunderland. In the summer of 1986, Charlton Athletic signed the goal keeper and he was ever present in goal during Charlton’s relegation battles. He became a fans favourite and was seen as a safe and popular goal keeper.
