Dave Clements

Clements made 48 appearances for Northern Ireland in his defensive midfield role and is one of the nations finest ever players. He played for the Irish between 1965 and 1976 and also scored two goals for his country. He played his domestic club football with Everton, Wolves, Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday. In total he made 392 league appearances during his career.

Ron Springett

Ron Springett was Sheffield Wednesday’s star playing during this era, playing for the club between 1958 and 1969, making 345 league appearances for the owls. During this time period he became England’s number one goal keeper and went on to record 33 international appearances in goal for England. He helped the Owls gain promotion in to the first division in his debut campaign at the club and played din the 1966 FA Cup final.
